After getting a look at Terrell Burgess during their rookie minicamp, the New Orleans Saints are signing the veteran safety to the roster. Donovan Peoples-Jones got to an opportunity to try for the New Orleans Saints at rookie minicamp. That audition has landed him a job. The Saints are signing the veteran wide receiver to a one-year contract, a source with knowledge of the situation said. New Orleans Saints Executive Vice President/General Manager Mickey Loomis announced Monday that the club has signed safety Jonas Sanker to a four-year contract Jonas (pronounced YO-nis) Sanker was selected with the club's second third round selection (93rd overall) out of Virginia. Sanker, 6 feet 1, 210 pounds, played four seasons for the Cavaliers anchoring the back line of the defense and also contributing on special teams. SEE MORE >>
