The New Orleans Saints re-signed safety Julian Blackmon to a one-year contract extension, making the move after the veteran missed all but one game this past season with a shoulder injury. The move, announced Tuesday by the team, essentially gives the Saints and Blackmon a chance at a do-over after the veteran's season was cut short. SEE MORE>>

New Orleans Saints Executive Vice President/General Manager Mickey Loomis announced today that the club has signed safety Julian Blackmon to a one-year contract extension. Blackmon, 6 feet, 202 pounds, is a six-year NFL veteran who was originally selected in the third round (85th overall) by the Indianapolis Colts out of Utah in the 2020 NFL Draft. SEE MORE>>
The Pro Football Writers of America announced today that New Orleans Saints tackle Kelvin Banks Jr. and quarterback Tyler Shough have been selected to the PFWA All-Rookie team. This is the first time multiple Saints have been named to the All-Rookie team since the 2019 season, when three players were selected and the first time two offensive Saints were selected since 2017. New Orleans Saints second-year quarterback Spencer Rattler won the job coming out of training camp and started the first eight games of the season. While team success was evasive (the Saints went 1-7 in his starts), Rattler showed promise and ability during the stretch before being replaced by Tyler Shough. SEE MORE>>
