It took only a few plays into a competitive period of Thursday's joint practice between the New Orleans Saints and Los Angeles Rams for Chase Young to make his presence felt. The Rams were trying to set up a receiver screen to the left side of their formation a design that in theory should eliminate talented edge rushers like Young from the play's equation. Thursday's joint practice vs. the Los Angeles Rams was held on the practice soccer fields of the LA Galaxy, at Dignity Health Sports Park. The practice was conducted on two side-by-side fields with the Saints first- and second-team offense against the Rams first- and second-team defense on the north field, with the Saints first- and second-team defense against the Rams first- and second-team offense on the south field.
