New Orleans will begin a three game road trip when they travel to Empower Field at Mile High for the first since 2012 to meet the Denver Broncos (3:05 p.m. CST). The matchup will feature the first meeting between head coaches Sean Payton and Vic Fangio. Fangio, a 34-year NFL coaching veteran, was named head coach of the Broncos in 2019.

New Orleans will be looking for their first win against Denver since December 24, 1994, the longest current stretch without a victory against an opponent. Denver Head Coach Vic Fangio was a defensive assistant with the Saints from 1986-94 where he coached Hall of Fame linebacker Rickey Jackson and the famed "Dome Patrol". Wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders played for the Broncos from 2014-19, a period when he had three 1,000-yard receiving seasons and was selected to the Pro Bowl twice.
