Willie Roaf, Ricky Williams among six former New Orleans Saints up for college football honor

Former Saints stars are on ballot for 2014 College Football Hall of Fame

Willie Roaf, a former New Orleans Saints star tackle now in the Pro Football Hall of Fame and one of the team's first inductees into its Ring of Honor, was one of six former Saints players listed on the ballot for the 2014 College Football Hall of Fame. Ricky Williams, a Heisman Trophy winning running back from Texas, was a first-round pick of the Saints and had several strong seasons in New Orleans before finishing his career with the Miami Dolphins.

The other former Saints players on the ballot released Thursday: wide receiver Wes Chandler, tight end Wesley Walls, wide receiver Trey Burton and running back Troy Davis.

Here are the 75 players and six coaches from the FBS level on this year's ballot. The class will be announced in May.
