New Orleans Saints Executive Vice President/General Manager Mickey Loomis announced today that the club has signed tight end Seth Green, cornerback Jayden Price and tackle Barry Wesley to one-year contracts and have waived cornerback Travion Fluellen and running back Xazavian Valladay.
Green, 6-4, 255, originally signed as an undrafted free agent with the Houston Texans following the 2022 NFL Draft out of the University of Houston, spending two months on the practice squad with Dallas Cowboys. He also participated in Dallas' 2023 training camp and preseason.
The Woodbury, Minn. native has played the past two seasons with the Arlington Renegades of the United Football League, appearing in 20 games with eight starts and posting 24 catches for 236 yards (9.8 avg.) with two touchdowns. In 2025, Green finished with 13 receptions for 159 yards (12.2 avg.) and one touchdown.
In six collegiate seasons with Minnesota (2016-20) and Houston (2021), Green appeared in 47 games with three starts, recording 19 catches for 240 yards (12.6 avg.) with three touchdowns and rushed 114 times for 388 yards (3.4 avg.) and 15 touchdowns as a wildcat quarterback with the Golden Gophers.
Price, 5-11, 185, originally signed with the Atlanta Falcons as a free agent following the 2024 NFL Draft out of North Dakota State. In the spring of 2025, he played for the Renegades, where he was a teammate of Green, recording 27 tackles, a split-sack and adding 194 punt return yards to rank second in the league and 337 kickoff return yards. In the fall of 2024, the Derby, Kan. native also played in one game for the Canadian Football League's Hamilton Tiger-Cats.
In his college career, Price played in 71 games with 54 starts for the Bison, recording 107 tackles (73 solo), 17 passes defensed, four stops for loss, three interceptions, three fumble recoveries, one sack and one forced fumble. As a redshirt senior in 2023, he started all 15 games and notched single-season college career highs in tackles (47), passes defensed (six), stops for loss (2.5) and interceptions (two). He added his first-career sack and a fumble recovery.
Wesley, 6-7, 310, played for the Seattle Sea Dragons of the XFL for the 2023 season coming out of Colorado State, where he played from 2018-21. After the XFL season, he signed with Atlanta and competed in training camp/preseason, eventually joining the practice squad prior to the start of the regular season. After competing with the Falcons in the 2024 preseason, the Lakewood, Colo. native joined the UFL's Birmingham Stallions for the 2025 campaign where he started nine-of-11 games played at both tackle and guard and was a nominee for the league's Sportsman of the Year award, recognizing sportsmanship, character and community service.
In four collegiate seasons in Fort Collins, Wesley started all 38 games he played in at tackle and guard after initially joining the team as a walk-on in 2018.
