New Orleans Saints coach Sean Payton's Play It Forward Foundation donated two truckloads of food that will benefit 800 families in both Washington and Iberia parishes on Thursday.
"This was an easy decision for our foundation," Payton said. "The No. 1 objective of our foundation is to help families in need."
The Play it Forward's Foundation's goal is to raise funds and awareness for organizations fighting at the fore-front for families and children in need. This can include homelessness, education and educational needs, healthcare for uninsured and disabled, victims of domestic violence, as well as other social welfare needs.
