*Play Football Month is designed to promote the sport as well as the intrinsic values gained through participation in youth football. This initiative encourages children, parents, coaches, and administrators to celebrate the start of football season throughout the month, by participating in special football events in their communities including clinics, skills competitions, scrimmages, picnics and parades.

JUNIOR SAINTSATIONS

*Pregame activities will be highlighted by the appearance of the Junior Saintsations. This ensemble of over 400 girls, ages six to 16, will showcase their performance skills by demonstrating dance and cheer techniques taught at Saintsations clinics earlier this month.

*Mrs. Carmella Green is a mezzo-soprano soloist who has been recognized for many accomplishments in both religious and classical music. She is a recipient of the Twisdale Scholarship, and was honored the Musical Matinee society Award of Philadelphia. Mrs. Green currently serves as the minister of music for Philadelphia's Triumph Baptist Church, and recently recorded as a featured soloist with the St. Thomas African Episcopal Church in Philadelphia.  Carmella Green is also the sister of New Orleans Saints starting right guard, # 73 Jahri Evans.
