Saints Drew Brees voted FedEx Air Player of the Week

Saints quarterback had a record-breaking performance vs. Indianapolis on Monday Night Football

New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees has won the FedEx Air Player of the Week award for Week 15.

Brees completed 29-of-30 passes for 307 yards and four touchdowns against the Indianapolis Colts on Monday Night Football. Brees broke Peyton Manning's record for most all-time passing touchdowns (540) when he connected with tight end Josh Hill open off of a play-action pass with just over seven minutes remaining in the third quarter. Brees found Taysom Hill for his fourth touchdown of the game, giving him 541 touchdown tosses for his career thus far.

Brees also set the NFL single-game completion record with a 96.7 percent performance (in a game with minimum of 20 attempts). He completed 22 consecutive passes Monday.

Other nominees for Fed Ex Air award were: Lamar Jackson (Ravens) and Jameis Winston (Bucs)
