New Orleans Saints Executive Vice President/General Manager Mickey Loomis has announced that the club has agreed to terms on a three-year contract with restricted free agent LB Junior Galette.

Galette, 6-2, 258 pounds, was originally signed by New Orleans as an undrafted free agent defensive end out of Stillman College in 2010. After making the club's 53-man roster out of training camp, The Port Au Prince, Haiti native has appeared in 32 games with two starts for the Saints. In three seasons, he's notched 51 tackles (34 solo), five sacks, one pass defense, one forced fumble and 12 special teams stops.

In 2012, Galette enjoyed his most productive season as he appeared in 16 games with one start at left defensive end and finished with 22 tackles (18 solo), a career-high five sacks, which ranked third on the team, one forced fumble and four special teams stops.

After spending his first three seasons at the defensive end position, Galette will move to linebacker as the Saints transition to a 3-4 alignment.
