Rafael Bush thanks New Orleans after signing with the Detroit Lions

Rafael Bush played four seasons for the New Orleans Saints

Safety Rafael Bush signed with the Detroit Lions on Saturday. Bush played the last four seasons for the Saints. He posted a statement to New Orleans on Instagram account Saturday morning.

"To the city of New Orleans thank you  I enjoyed my time there and I met some really good people and teammates that I can call brothers for life outside of football. I cherish the memories good and bad it's shapes us into the people we are suppose to be God gave me a vision and all I'm trying doing is trying to pursue that goal and nothing will get in my way. To the fans, y'all are some of the most loyal fans ever and y'all got y'all players back right or wrong like a family should. Once again thank you."
