The 27th pick has primarily been a defensive pick over the last 10 years with six defensive backs...White was the leading contender for AP NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year behind Saints CB Marshon Lattimore, as the former LSU standout and Shreveport native recorded four interceptions and two fumble recoveries, one returned for a touchdown…Kenny Clark moved intot the starting lineup in his second season and had 4.5 sacks…Jones has played 48 games with 43 starts, opening contests at both cornerback and safety and recording two interceptions, one returned for a touchdown and two forced fumbles…Bucannon has played in 57 games with 50 starts as a hybrid linebacker/safety for the Cardinals, recording 358 tackles, six sacks, two interceptions, six forced fumbles and four fumble recoveries…Hopkins has started all 79 games he's played in, tallying 413 receptions for 5,865 yards and 36 touchdowns with two Pro Bowl selections and a 2017 AP first-team All-Pro nod…Zeitler has started 87 of the 88 games he's played in for Cleveland and Cincinnati…Smith has played in 86 career games with 68 starts for Baltimore and has recorded 11 interceptions, including tying a career-high with three, one returned for a touchdown in only 12 games in 2017…Devin McCourty has started all 123 games he has appeared in as a professional for the Patriots at both cornerback and safety and has recorded 20 interception and three forced fumbles, being selected to the Pro Bowl four times…Brown played in 89 games with 25 starts in a seven-year NFL career from 2009-15 and carried 695 times for 2,829 yards (4.1 avg.) and 18 touchdowns and added 120 receptions for 1,066 yard and two touchdowns…Cason played in 110 games with 59 starts for San Diego, Arizona, Baltimore and Carolina from 2008-14 and finished his NFL career with 16 interceptions and five fumble recoveries
