229: Over the last 10 drafts, wide receivers have been selected most frequently (three times)…After starting the 2016 season on the practice squad, Ayers was elevated to the Steelers active roster in December and helped with the club's playoff push, catching his first career touchdown in an overtime win in the season finale and adding three grabs in the postseason…After spending his rookie campaign on the Jaguars practice squad, Koyack took over the starting job at tight end for Jacksonville at midseason in 2016 and finished with 19 receptions for 161 yards with one touchdown, also adding a tackle and fumble recovery on special teams…Over three games played for Detroit in 2014, Freese made three-of-seven field goals with a long of 30 yards, while connecting on all six extra points...A two-year starter at defensive tackle for Florida State, Dawkins played in one game for Dallas in 2013, while also spending time on the Minnesota Vikings practice squad...In 42 games with four clubs, Brown carried 251 times for 1,076 yards (4.3 avg.) with seven touchdowns…After spending time on the Rams and Panthers practice squads during the 2011 season, Nelson appeared in two games with one start for the Panthers, recording six tackles (three solo) and one interception...Cook started two games for Washington in 2011…Over two games played for Dallas in 2010, Johnson made one six-yard reception...Williams appeared in 97 career games with 75 starts and totaled nine interceptions, four forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries in eight seasons and in the 2012 postseason picked off both Andrew Luck and Tom Brady. In 2016, his final season with the Rams, he started a career-high 14 contests and totaled 43 tackles (31 solo) and five sacks…In his first career game, Broussard caught a 47-yard touchdown…Two of the last ten players selected with the 229th pick overall are still playing in the NFL.
