New Orleans Saints vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Notebook

New Orleans is 2-0 for the first time since 2010

*With the win today, New Orleans improved to 2-0 for the first time since the 2010 season, for the eighth time in franchise history and for the fourth time during Sean Payton's tenure as head coach (2006, 2009, 2010).

*The win extended New Orleans' lead in the series against the Buccaneers to 26-17, including a 12-7 record at Tampa Bay. With the win, Payton improved to 7-6 against Tampa Bay, giving him a winning mark against 19 NFL teams.

*New Orleans earned a win in their first road contest of the season for the first time since a 25-22 victory at San Francisco on September 20, 2010 that ended with a game-winning 37-yard field goal by K Garrett Hartley.

*Hartley's 27-yard game-winning field goal as time expired was his fifth game-winning kick in his career, the first since a 20-yard try in Dallas on December 23, 2012.

*QB Drew Breescompleted 26-of-46 passes for 322 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions. Since joining the Saints in 2006, Brees has engineered 22 regular season drives in the fourth quarter or overtime for a touchdown or field goal to lead New Orleans to victory from a deficit or tie.

*Brees' yardage total increased his streak of consecutive games with 300 passing yards to seven, two short of his NFL-record stretch that ended September 23, 2012. In his career, Brees has 69 games with 300-yards or more passing, ranked second in NFL record books.

*WR Marques Colstonrecorded 63 yards on four receptions in the game, increasing his total to7,525 career receiving yards, becoming the third Saint with 7,500 career receiving yards along with Eric Martin(7,854) and Joe Horn(7,622).

*TE Jimmy Grahamhad 10 receptions for 179 yards, including a 56-yard touchdown, the longest scoring play of his career. It was his 27th career touchdown grab, tying him with Henry Childsfor the most by a Saints tight end all-time. Graham now has 2,864 career receiving yards to surpass Wes Chandler to move into 10th place on the club's all-time list. His yardage total was the most for a Saints-tight end all-time, surpassing his 146 yards on November, 11, 2012.

*Graham's receiving total ranks tied for fourth all-time with Floyd Turner as the most receiving yards recorded in a game in club history. The 179 yards also tied for the 9th most receiving yards in a game by a tight end in NFL records, tied with former Minnesota TE Steve Jordan.

*S Roman Harperappeared in the 101st game of his career today, moving him to a tie with TE Larry Hardyand CB Toi Cookfor 44th on the club's all-time list. With six solo tackles on the day, Harper reached the 500 solo stop mark and improved to 505 for his career.

*K Garrett Hartleykicked three field goals and had one extra point today to give him 336 career points, moving him past RB Deuce McAllisterinto fifth place on the club's all-time list. Hartley made a 27-yard field goal as time expired to give New Orleans a win.

*The New Orleans defense held Tampa Bay to 113 net yards passing.

*DE Cameron Jordan's third quarter third down sack of Buccaneers QB Josh Freemanwas recovered by OLB Junior Galettefor the first fumble recovery of Galette's four-year career.

*S Malcolm Jenkinshad his first pick of the season, a 31-yard interception return.
