*Defensive End Cameron Jordan and Dolphins defensive end Dion Jordan were teammates at Chandler (Ariz.) High School.
*Inside linebacker Jonathan Vilma prepped at Coral Gables HS and starred at the University of Miami (Fla.).
*Tight end Jimmy Graham played four years of basketball for the Hurricanes and then converted to play tight end in his fifth year at the school while pursuing his graduate studies. During his sole year playing college football, Graham and Dolphins running back Lamar Miller were teammates with the Hurricanes.

Vilma and Trusnik were teammates with the New York Jets in 2007. Watson, Dolphins fullback Tyler Clutts and cornerback Dimitri Patterson were also teammates with the Browns in 2011

Coaching Connections
*Miami assistant linebackers coach David Corrao served on the coaching staff at the University of Mississippi from 2005-07.
*Dolphins assistant wide receivers coach Phil McGeoghan played for the Saints in 2003.
*Defensive line coach Bill Johnson served as a graduate assistant at the University of Miami (Fla.) in 1987 when the Hurricanes won a national championship and served on the same staff at Texas A&M with Dolphins offensive coordinator Mike Sherman.
*Secondary coach Wesley McGriff coached with the Hurricanes from 2007-10...CB Rod Sweeting is a native of Miami.
*Offensive coordinator Pete Carmichael and Dolphins offensive line coach Jim Turner served on the same coaching staff at Louisiana Tech.
*Dolphins tight ends coach Dan Campbell went to training camp with the Saints in 2009. Campbell was tutored by Saints head coach Sean Payton with the New York Giants and Dallas Cowboys as well.
