New Orleans Saints rookies tour Crescent City

Saints rookies visited a number of landmarks in the area on Wednesday

In what has become a tradition for New Orleans Saints rookies, the 2015 rookie class visited a number local landmarks on Wednesday.

The newest memebrs of the Black and Gold began their tour in the Lower Night Ward, where they spoke with staff members of the Make it Right foundation.

Next up, the crew took a bus tour of the French Quarter led by Saints Director of Player Development Fred McAfee.

Following the drive through the Quarter, the Saints appeared at the Wednesday at the Square concert where they were each introduced by host Shelley Brown of FOX 8 WVUE.

The rookies closed out the tour by hanging out with fans at the 2015 New Orleans Touchdown Club Crawfish Boil.

"it was a great experience," said Saints sixth round pick Damian Swann. "We like to interact with the fans and meet new people. We are blessed to be here."

The 2015 New Orleans Saints rookies toured the area on Wednesday: visiting the Lower Ninth Ward, French Quarter, Wednesday at the Square and closed out the day with the New Orleans Touchdown Club crawfish boil.
