New Orleans Saints-Oakland Raiders updates: Saints lead 23-17 after three quarters

Saints lose two fumbles, throw interception in third quarter

The Oakland Raiders scored on a 1-yard fumble return by linebacker Ryan Robinson and had a field goal set up by a New Orleans interception as they cut the Saints' lead to 23-17 after three quarters Friday night at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.

New Orleans Saints backup Seneca Wallace had a tough period. First he was blindsided by Raiders linebacker David Bass and fumbled the ball which Robinson picked up and scored. It was the Saints' second fumble of the quarter as running back Travaris Cadet fumbled earlier in the period, ending a decent Saints drive. On the next drive Wallace was intercepted by Omar Gaither with 3:30 to play at the Saints' 21 which led to a Eddy Carmona field goal.

Terrelle Pryor replaced Raiders starter Matt Flynn at quarterback and showed good mobility.

Key stats: Saints, Seneca Wallace, 3 of 5 for 32 yards and one interception; Travaris Cadet, four carries for four yards. Raiders, Terrelle Pryor, 1 for 5 passing for nine yards, three carries for 12 yards.
