New Orleans Saints-Miami Dolphins third-quarter update: Saints 35, Dolphins 10

Saints score two quick TDs in period

The New Orleans Saints came out after halftime and quickly scored two touchdowns to take a 35-10 lead over the Miami Dolphins on Monday night at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.

Drew Brees connected with tight end Ben Watson on a 4-yard touchdown pass and then hit tight end Jimmy Graham with a 43-yard TD bomb. It was Graham's second TD of the game.

The Saints' defense ramped up its pressure, sacking Miami quarterback Ryan Tannehill three times. Junior Galette, Martez Wilson and Cameron Jordan each had sacks for the Saints.

Key stats: Drew Brees, 23 of 31 for 337 yards and four TDs. Darren Sproles, seven catches for 114 yards, one receiving TD, one rushing TD. Jimmy Graham, two catches for 70 yards, two TDs.
