Analysis: New Orleans Saints kicker Wil Lutz made a franchise-record 32 field goals in 36 attempts in his fourth season. Lutz knocked home game-winners as time expired in Week 1 against Houston (career-long 58 yards), and Week 12 against Carolina (33 yards). He had two games of four field goals, in victories over Dallas and Atlanta. Lutz was a significant factor in the Saints finishing first in NFL writer Rick Gosselin's special teams rankings. Gosselin's system is considered a primary standard for ranking overall performance of special teams. After a successful 2019 campaign, Lutz earned himself a trip to the Pro Bowl for the first time.

Best game: Lutz scored all of the Saints' points when New Orleans hosted Dallas on a "Sunday Night Football" thriller in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in Week 4. He hit from 40, 42, 19, 26 yards, and the Saints came away with the 12-10 victory.

Best quote: "The cool part about it as a specialist being here is you see how much special teams helped our team this year, and you really feel like we were able to really be productive in every game. That means the most to specialists, and I think this is just kind of a tip of the hat to really being able to help the team win this year." - Lutz
