Analysis: New Orleans Saints defensive end Marcus Davenport served as a solid bookend opposite Cameron Jordan in 2019, starting 12 games and posting 29 stops before being placed on Injured Reserve. Davenport finished ranked second on the club with six take-downs and led the club with four forced fumbles.

Best game: Davenport's best game came against divisional rival, the Atlanta Falcons in Week 13. Davenport exploded, recording four tackles, two sacks, and a career-high three forced fumbles, while only playing 49 percent of the defensive snaps. The Saints went on to beat the Falcons 26-18 on Thanksgiving night.
