New Orleans Saints at Chicago Bears third quarter update: Both teams went on a long, clock-hitting drives that ended with field goals in the third quarter Sunday at Chicago's Soldier Field.

The Saints drove 60 yards, eating up almost seven minutes of clock before settling for Garrett Hartley's third field goal of the day, this one from 36 yards. The Bears and Jay Cutler answered with a 71-yard drive that stalled inside the 10 and ended up with a 27-yard field goal by Robbie Gould.

Key stats: Saints, Drew Brees, 26 of 30 for 265 yards and two TDs; Jimmy Graham, eight catches for 115 yards; Pierre Thomas, eight catches for 52 yards and two TDs. Bears, Jay Cutler, 16 of 23 for 229 yards and one TD; Alshon Jeffery, six catches for 117 yards and one TD.
