New Orleans Saints at Chicago Bears halftime update: Drew Brees connected with tight end Jimmy Graham on two big pass plays to set up New Orleans' first touchdown, a 2-yard pass to Pierre Thomas. The Saints scored their second touchdown on a beautiful 25-yard screen pass to Thomas down the left sideline, a play the Chicagoan has patented while with the Saints.

That score was set up when Thomas converted a fourth-and-1 run two plays earlier.

The Bears scored their only points on an efficient drive that showed off quarterback Jay Cutler's strong arm. The Bears ended the 80-yard drive with a 3-yard TD pass to Alshon Jeffery in the corner of the end zone.

Key stats: Drew Brees, 17 of 20 for 195 yards and two TD; Jimmy Graham, seven catches for 106 yards. Bears, Jay Cutler, 14 of 18, 175 yards, one TD. Alshon Jeffery, four catches for 50 yards, one TD.
