New Orleans Saints Announce Roster Moves

The Saints have signed T Tony Hills and waived/injured OL Ryker Matthew

The New Orleans Saints have signed T Tony Hills and waived/injured OL Ryker Matthew, it was announced by Executive Vice President/General Manager Mickey Loomis.

Hills, 6-5, 304, is a seven-year NFL veteran who first joined the Saints in 2015 in Week Five and played in a career-high eight games on both offense and on special teams. Originally a fourth round draft pick (130th overall) by the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2008 out of the University of Texas, the Houston native has appeared in 22 career regular season games with one start for New Orleans, Pittsburgh (2009-10), Indianapolis (2012), Dallas (2014) and New Orleans (2015) and has played in four postseason contests with the Steelers, Denver Broncos and Cowboys. Hills started 24 games at left tackle for the Longhorns from 2006-07.
