New Orleans Saints Activate LB Jonathan Vilma from the Reserve/PUP List

Saints terminated the contract of WR Greg Camarillo; TE Jimmy Graham (ankle) didn't make trip to Tampa (now listed as out)

The New Orleans Saints announced today that the team has activated LB Jonathan Vilma from the reserve/PUP list and terminated the contract of wide receiver Greg Camarillo.

Vilma, 6-1, 230 pounds, is in his ninth NFL season and his fifth season with the Saints. Vilma has played in 113 career games, with 111 starts, and collected 939 tackles, 38 passes defensed, 11 forced fumbles, 11 interceptions, ten fumble recoveries and 9.5 sacks.                                                             

Camarillo, 6-2, 200 pounds, is in his seventh NFL season. He had four receptions for 44 yards in three games this season with the Saints.

The Saints also downgraded TE Jimmy Graham (ankle) from questionable to out. Graham did not accompany the team on its flight to Tampa this afternoon.

The Saints (1-4) travel to Tampa Bay (2-3) in an NFC South divisional game on Sunday, October 21, 2012 at Raymond James Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 12:00 p.m. CT.
