New Orleans Saints 2017 season recap: Wil Lutz

In his second year with the New Orleans Saints, kicker Wil Lutz improved upon his impressive debut season. Lutz was 31 of 36 (86.1 percent) on field-goal attempts in the regular season and two of three in the postseason.

Best Game: Week 11 game against the Washington Redskins. The Georgia State product nailed field goals from 52, 42 and 29 yards in regulation, and the game-winning 28-yard kick in overtime. Lutz also had a career-high 14 points after drilling both PATs and had all seven of his kickoffs sail into the end zone for touchbacks.

Best Quote: “This is something special. We have a great locker room and to win in that fashion (in overtime) shows that we can win with our backs against the wall.”
