New Orleans Saints 2014 season in review: Keenan Lewis

Keenan Lewis posted 37 stops (29 solo)

Signed as a free agent from Pittsburgh, this New Orleans native returned home to join the Saints secondary in 2013.

Over his six-year career, Lewis has appeared in 77 games with 49 starts, registering 188 tackles (156 solo), seven interceptions, 56 passes defensed and one forced fumble.

In 2014, Lewis posted 37 stops (29 solo), two interceptions to tie for the team lead and 13 passes defensed to lead the team, appearing in all 16 games.

Best game: Lewis had his most dominant performance of the season on Oct. 30, at Carolina, when he posted four tackles (two solo) and a team-leading three passes defensed as the Panthers managed only 122 net yards passing.

Rob Ryan on Lewis: "I think nationally they probably don't know this guy like they should. There is nobody that works harder than he does.  From the day we lost to Seattle last season he was in the office right away that next morning.  We've got a few like that and he is really special."
