New Orleans Saints 2014 season in review: David Hawthorne

David Hawthorne had 112 tackles in 2014

Despite missing four contests with ankle, knee and hand injuries, David Hawthorne finished with 112 tackles (65 solo), one interception, three sacks and six passes defensed, while adding one special teams stop in 2014. He reached 100-stop totals for the fifth time in his career and his second consecutive season as a Saint and second overall.

Best Game: Had five tackles and three sacks in the New Orleans Saints Monday night win against Chicago Bears on Dec. 15, 2014.

He Said it: On the disappointing season "You come out and put all your work into it and when you don't get the results you want it stings. This is our life, it's our job, our life, our profession so everything we have is poured into this. This game has given us everything we have so when we don't succeed it hurts."
