New Look to NewOrleansSaints.com

By Doug Tatum

!

There's an old saying in football that if you're not getting better it means you're getting worse. We decided to take that adage to heart and re-designed the home page of NewOrleansSaints.com to give our fans a better online experience.

Among the changes:
*The headlines have been moved to the top right of the page to make them easier to find.

*We've added a Countdown Clock which right now is counting down the days, hours, minutes and seconds until training camp and then will be re-set to count down to the regular-season opener against the Atlanta Falcons on Sept. 8.

*We've added an Up Next navigation bar on the top left of the page which will highlight the times of three shows we've created: The Black and Blue Report, a 30-minute online radio show on the Saints and Pelicans which starts Monday at 1 p.m.; the New Orleans Saints Morning Report, a video show which will debut with the start of training camp and feature exclusive interviews; and the New Orleans Saints Afternoon Wrap, a video show that will contain analysis, practice highlights and coach and player interviews.

*Videos and photos have been given more prominent play on the page to reflect the increased emphasis we will be giving them.

*The feed of our official Twitter account - @Saints – is now on the page.

*We'll have a Daily Poll plus a Fact of the Day to keep our fans engaged and informed on their favorite team.

*A member of the Saintsations will be featured on the home page every day.

*We hope you like the changes and will enjoy the shows we've added as we strive to provide the NFL's best fans with the best possible coverage of their team.

*There will be more changes to come as we will be working to improve and re-design each of our interior pages, launch a mobile app and make other enhancements to NewOrleansSaints.com. Our first poll asks you to weigh in on the page's new look but we want feedback from our fans all the time. If you have a question, a suggestion or a complaint feel free to email me at Doug.Tatum@saints.nfl.com.
