Marcela Kehrer, a command career counselor in the Navy, was part of a group of 30 military members from the Louisiana National Guard and Navy that the New Orleans Saints hosted Wednesday at the 2014 Minicamp presented by Verizon.

After sitting through a hot, 2-hour workout Kehrer was able to snag quite the souvenir - a selfie with Saints quarterback Drew Brees.

"As soon as I found out we had the opportunity to come out there I was excited," she said.  "I was shaking the whole time. I was trying to keep cool. I gave him my ball to sign and as soon as he said I could take a selfie with him, my hand couldn't stop shaking."

What was the first thing Kehrer did with the photo? She sent it to her husband "to get him a little bit jealous."

Brees said "it's awesome" that the Saints get so much support from area military members.

"I think we all have had the chance at some point or another to go visit and see the troops," he said, "and for them to come out and support us is great."
