Hometown hero Michael Lewis will appear at the Saints Hall of Fame Museum prior to Friday's preseason opener between the New Orleans Saints and Tennessee Titans.

Lewis will be available for autographs and pictures from 5 p.m.-6:15 p.m. at the museum, located at Gate B on the Plaza Level of the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. All ticket holders are admitted free on game days.

Lewis, who prepped at Grace King, currently serves as a team ambassador for the Saints. Lewis played for the Saints from 2001-2006 before finishing his NFL career with the San Francisco 49ers in 2007.

Lewis was a first-team All-Pro, made the Pro Bowl and was chosen as the NFL Alumni Special Teams Player of the Year in 2002. In 2002, Lewis set an NFL record for combined kick-punt return yardage with 2,432 yards total (1,807 kickoff, 625 punt). He is currently the Saints' all-time career leader in punt returns (142) and punt return yardage (1,482).

The Saints Hall of Fame Museum is open by appointment Monday through Friday weekly between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. at a cost of $7 per person or $5 per group of 10 or more.
