Junior Galette receives 2013 Jim Finks Good Guy Award from New Orleans media

Junior Galette earned the award for his professionalism and cooperation with reporters

New Orleans Saints media members who regularly cover the team have voted linebacker Junior Galette the recipient of the 2013 Jim Finks Good Guy Award, which is given by the New Orleans Chapter of the Professional Football Writers of America.

The award, which is presented in honor of the Saints' late general manager, recognizes a player for his professionalism and cooperation with reporters in doing their jobs throughout the course of the season.

A total of 17 media members voted for three players on a ballot and points were awarded on a 3-2-1 basis for players named as first, second or third. Twelve players received votes and six received at least one first-place vote.
