Baltimore leads the series, 5-1

The Saints and Ravens have played six times in the regular season with Baltimore holding a 5-1 edge. The two teams first met on September 29, 1996 at Baltimore's Memorial Stadium in the club's first season in their new home after relocating from Cleveland. The contest resulted in a 17-10 Ravens win. New Orleans' only win in the series was a 37-25 victory at Ravens Stadium on December 8, 2002. In the last regular season meeting between the two clubs, the Ravens defeated the Saints 34-27 at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome on November 24, 2014. The clubs have met four times in the preseason with the Ravens winning all four contests. The most recent preseason matchup occurred on August 13, 2015 at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore. The Ravens came out on top in the exhibition contest, 30-27. Thursday's matchup marks the third-consecutive season that the two teams meet in the preseason.
