Fans can comment on stories using Facebook

Addition is part of ongoing effort to improve fan experience on website

When the re-designed home page of was introduced in July we wrote that our goal was to make the website a little bit better every day.

Since that launch we've introduced a mobile app (available on iTunes and Google Play), debuted a daily podcast (Black and Blue Report) two daily video programs (Morning Report and Afternoon Wrap) and have some of the area's top writers (John DeShazier) and broadcasters (Sean Kelley, Rob Nice) working on keeping you informed about your favorite NFL team and entertained.

Last Sunday we provided you with an exclusive interview with Saints Coach Sean Payton just a couple of hours before kickoff. That feature will continue each week and is the only place you will be able to watch it.

In an effort to continue that improvement, we've implemented commenting on stories through fans' Facebook accounts. At the end of each article you'll see a box with "Add a comment…" Just sign in with your Facebook account and you can start sharing your insights with fellow fans.

There are a couple of ground rules. First, keep it clean. Profanity won't be tolerated. Abuse directed toward our staff or other fans is another no-no. In short, play nice.

More improvements are on the way. We just launched a new landing page for Tickets and Stadium and are about to launch re-designed interior landing pages for our Media Center (the place to go for videos, photos and audio), News & Events and Saintsations.

We want to become the digital hangout for fans and we're committed to doing everything we can to make that happen. Have a comment or a suggestion? Please comment below or send them my way:
