ESPN highlights New Orleans Saints hosting Women's World Football Games

Saints are the first NFL franchise to host the event

espnW writer Sarah Spain recently wrote about the New Orleans Saints hosting the Women's World Football Games at the team's Metairie facility. The Saints are the first NFL team to host the games.

Spain highlighted the appearance of Jen Welter, a former Arizona Cardinals coaching intern, former Saints return specialist Michael Lewis and how the Saints' head nutritionist. Jamie Meeks, gave a presentation on healthy eating and hydration. The team's youth programs department, led by Jason Trosclair, helped USA Football run the six-day event.

"The New Orleans Saints rolled out the red carpet for us," said Rebecca Samuelson, one of the players.
