Drew Brees passes Dan Marino for third in NFL passing yardage

He needed 35 yards going into Giants game

East Rutherford, N.J. - New Orleans Sainst quarterback Drew Brees passed Dan Marino on Sunday for third place all-time in passing yardage in the NFL. Brees went into Sunday's game vs. the New York Giants needed 35 yards to pass the Miami Dolphin great at 61,362 yards. He passed the mark in the second quarter on a pass to tight end Coby Fleener.

Peyton Manning is the all-time leader with 71,940 yards and Brett Favre is second with 71.838.
