Alvin Kamara nominated for two Rookie of the Week awards

Rookie running back from Tennessee continues to impress

The NFL announced On Tuesday, Nov. 7 that New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara has been nominated for the FedEx Air & Ground NFL Players of the Week and Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Week for Week 9.

Kamara was previously selected as the Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Week for his Week 4 performance against the Miami Dolphins.

Other nominees for FedEx Air & Ground NFL Players of the Week are: Jay Cutler (Dolphins), Jared Goff(Rams) and Matthew Stafford (Lions) and running backs Adrian Peterson (Cardinals), Ezekiel Elliott (Cowboys).

Other nominees for Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Week are: Corey Clement (Eagles), Christian McCaffrey (Panthers),Evan Ingram (Giants) andAdoree' Jackson (Titans).

Fans can also vote on Twitter using #AirandGround and the nominee's last name.

As part of a continued commitment by FedEx to serve local communities, a weekly $2,000 donation will be made in the name of both of the FedEx Air & Ground winners to the USO through FedEx Cares. The donation will be used to support USO programs that keep service members connected to family, home and country as they depart the military and find a new path in civilian life.

PEPSI: Fans can vote for one of these five players on www.nfl.com/rookies through Friday at 3 PM ET to determine the PEPSI NFL ROOKIE OF THE WEEK. The PEPSI NFL ROOKIE OF THE WEEK will be announced Friday on NFL Total Access on NFL Network and on NFL.com.

After the regular season, five players will be nominated for Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Year honors. Fans can vote for the winner on NFL.com/rookies throughout the month of January.

This is Pepsi's 16th year as the official soft drink sponsor of the NFL and the 15th year that Pepsi will present the NFL Rookie of the Week and NFL Rookie of the Year awards.
