A look at Saints defensive tackle Sheldon Rankins throughout the 2016 season.

The 2016 draft yielded five players to the Saints squad. Rankins, who suffered a broken fibula in training camp, finished the season strong on the defensive line. Thomas impressed on the offensive end around the league, leading all rookies in receptions (92), receiving yards (1,137) and touchdowns (9). Bell and Onyemata established themselves as key members on defense, racking up the tackles and contributing in all 16 games of 2016. Behind the Saints rushing attack of Mark Ingram and Tim Hightower, Lasco made the most of his limited snaps, averaging 2.9 yards per carry.
