Jabari Greer is entering his 10th NFL season, fifth with the Saints, and he looks to continue his role as a defensive leader.

Greer had another standout season in 2012, appearing in 14 games with 13 starts and posting 51 tackles (40 solo), a career-high three interceptions to tie for the team lead and 14 passes defensed.

Greer's biggest play of the 2012 season came in Week 10 at home against the then-undefeated Atlanta Falcons. The Saints were leading 31-27 with 1:46 remaining in the game and the Falcons were on the Saints 2-yard line on 4th and goal. Matt Ryan threw to Roddy White in the endzone but Greer broke up the pass to cause a turnover on downs and secure the Saints win.

For his career, Greer has played in 123 games with 76 starts and recording 399 career tackles (317 solo), 12 interception returns for 218 yards, four brought back for touchdowns, two sacks, 93 passes defensed, three forced fumbles and one fumble recovery.
