Former New Orleans Saints defensive end Will Smith will appear at the New Orleans Saints Hall of Fame Museum on Sunday, Dec. 21 from 10 a.m.-11:15 a.m. prior to the Saints home game with the Atlanta Falcons at noon.

Smith played nine seasons for the Saints from 2004-2012 and was a prominent contributor to the Super Bowl championship team in the 2009 season, when he posted a team and career high 13 sacks, fifth best in the NFL.

Smith played in 139 games with the Saints, recording 67.5 sacks, fourth best in franchise history. He forced 20 fumbles, six fumble recoveries and two interceptions. Smith earned Pro Bowl status in 2006, when he recorded 10.5 sacks and forced three fumbles as the Saints reached the NFC championship game.

Smith will be available for autographs and pictures Sunday. The Saints Hall of Fame is located at Gate B on the Plaza level of the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. The museum is open three hours prior to each home game and for 45 minutes following each home game. All ticket holders for games are admitted free of charge on game day.

The museum is open by appointment Monday through Friday between 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at a cost of $7 per person and $5 per group of 10 or more, per availability. For more information, call (504) 471-2192 or e-mail
