The New Orleans Saints announced today the addition of veteran broadcaster Stan Verrett as the host of the team's new pregame show. The show, presented by Cutwater, will debut with the 2025 season and will air across all official Saints digital platforms.

"We are thrilled to welcome Stan Verrett back home to New Orleans and into the Saints family," New Orleans Saints President Dennis Lauscha said. "Stan's experience, insight, and love for this city make him the perfect host to lead this new pregame show, and help us deliver an engaging, high-quality show to our fans."

The pregame show will air 60 minutes prior to kickoff for every Saints game, delivering exclusive analysis, interviews, and coverage designed to bring fans closer to the team and the action on the field. Saints legend Scott Shanle will be part of the program along with Saints team reporter Erin Summers.

Verrett, a 25-year veteran of ESPN, brings a wealth of experience and a deep connection to the New Orleans community. He joined ESPN in 2000 as an anchor for ESPNEWS and later moved to the network's Los Angeles Production Facility in 2009, where he co-hosted the 1 a.m. ET edition of SportsCenter alongside Neil Everett.

A proud native of New Orleans and St. Augustine High School alumni, Verrett began his career in the Crescent City as a weekend sports anchor and reporter at WDSU-TV, the NBC affiliate. He is a graduate of Howard University in Washington, D.C., where he was named one of the two outstanding graduates in journalism in 1989. In 2020, Howard recognized him with the Alumni Award for Distinguished Postgraduate Achievement.

Fans can tune in via the Saints digital channels starting with the first game of the 2025 season on Sunday, September 7, when the Black & Gold host the Arizona Cardinals.
