Saints Hall of Famer Henry Childs to Appear at Museum Sunday

In seven years with the Saints, Childs caught 207 passes for 3,224 yards and 27 touchdowns

Saints Hall of Fame tight end Henry Childs will appear at the Saints Hall of Fame Museum on Sunday, November 11 from 10 AM-11:15 AM, prior to the New Orleans Saints home game against the Atlanta Falcons.

Childs, who played for the Saints from 1974-1980, also played for the Falcons, Los Angeles Rams and Green Bay Packers. Childs was inducted into the Saints Hall of Fame in 1994.

In seven years with the Saints, Childs caught 207 passes for 3,224 yards and 27 touchdowns. He finished fifth in the league in receiving touchdowns in 1977 with nine and was a Pro Bowl selection in 1979, when he was named first-team All-NFC.

Childs will be available for autographs and pictures.

The Saints Hall of Fame Museum is located at Gate B on the Plaza Level. The museum is open three hours prior to each Saints home game and for 45 minutes following each home game free of charge to those holding tickets to the game. The Saints Hall of Fame is open by appointment Monday through Friday between the hours of 10 AM-3 PM for a cost of $7 per person, $5 for seniors and children under 12.
