The 2026 NFL Paris Game will take place at the Stade de France in partnership with GL events. The Stade de France, built in 1998, is the country's largest stadium. A multi-purpose venue, it hosts major international sports and entertainment events and is home to the French national soccer and rugby teams. It is the only stadium to have hosted a FIFA World Cup, Rugby World Cup, UEFA Champions League Finals and UEFA European Championship Finals and played a starring role in the 2024 Olympic & Paralympic Games in Paris. In addition to its sporting heritage, the venue has welcomed global music icons, including U2, Beyoncé, Jay-Z, AC/DC, Paul McCartney and The Rolling Stones.
"We are excited to be selected to play in the first regular season game to take place in France," said Saints Owner Gayle Benson. "This moment is special not only because of the strong cultural connection between Louisiana and France, but also because we will compete before a growing Saints fan base in Paris. I am grateful to NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, Charles Kushner, Ambassador of the United States to France, and the French Government, especially Laurent Bili, Ambassador of France to the United States, and Samuel Ducroquet, Ambassador of France to Sport, for helping make this historic event possible."
Louisiana has had a strong bond with France dating to the 17th century, with its roots as a colony until the Louisiana Purchase in 1803. Louisiana and New Orleans continue to share strong cultural and economic ties with France and Paris, the nation's capital and largest city.
The Saints further strengthened this cultural bond in 2023, when the NFL awarded the club international marketing rights in France as part of the league's 'Global Markets Program', making the Saints the first and only team to hold those rights in France.
The Global Markets Program through the NFL allows the Saints organization, led by Mrs. Benson, to work in close collaboration with the state leadership of Louisiana Economic Development (LED) to promote business development, as well as working with the city's leadership in marketing and promoting tourism for New Orleans.
"Bringing a regular season game to Paris in 2026 marks an exciting next step in the continued expansion of the league's global footprint," said NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell. "Paris is one of the world's greatest sporting and cultural cities with tremendous success in hosting global events that unite fans on the biggest stages. Playing our first-ever regular season game at the impressive Stade de France, together with the New Orleans Saints, underlines our continued global growth ambitions and we look forward to bringing the NFL to our passionate fans in France."
The game will be played in partnership with GL events with support from the French Department of Sports, Youth and Community Life, the Fédération Française de Football Américain (FFFA), Plaine Commune, Ville de Saint Denis, Ville de Paris, Métropole du Grand Paris and Région Ile de France. The NFL has a growing presence in France with over 14 million fans. Building on that popularity, NFL Flag – the league's official youth flag football program – launched in France in 2023 in partnership with the FFFA and already reaches over 8,000 boys and girls, with plans to grow participation in the years ahead.
In the summer of 2025, a contingent of Saints team officials, led by Mrs. Benson, visited France to strengthen the connection between the team and fans abroad, participating in and sponsoring a series of community events. Prior to the trip, the Saints and the Paris Musketeers of the European League of Football (ELF) established a strategic partnership to unite the fan bases, enhance cross-continental football experiences and foster the growth of American football in Europe, which included having the contingent attend a Musketeers game. In November, a group of Musketeers club officials, coaches and players visited New Orleans, attended a Saints practice and were guests of Mrs. Benson during the team's Nov. 23 contest against the Atlanta Falcons at the Caesars Superdome.
The full matchup, including the Saints' opponent, date and kickoff time will be announced by the NFL at a future date.
PERTINENT INFORMATION FOR SAINTS SEASON TICKET HOLDERS
The Saints have adjusted 2026 season ticket and parking package pricing by 10% to reflect the number of games scheduled at the Caesars Superdome. This coincides with a year in which season ticket rates remained flat, with the 2026 home slate matching last season's total of eight regular season games.
Accounts not yet paid in full will automatically see a one-time 10% adjustment applied to remaining payments and updated payment plans. Fully paid accounts will receive the adjustment as an account credit that can be used for future purchases, including playoff tickets, single‑game tickets, or 2027 season tickets. Refunds of account credits are available upon request through the ticket office.
Because the 2026 NFL Paris Game is a league‑led event, a limited number of tickets will be made available to eligible Saints season ticket holders via a lottery. Those who renew by February 20 with either full payment or their first installment will be eligible for the lottery. Additional details on the season ticket holder lottery and purchasing timelines will be shared in the coming weeks. For more information, please contact your season ticket account manager or call 504‑731‑1700.
