Mark Ingram up for FedEx Ground Player of the Week for performance in Carolina

Mark Ingram had 100 yards rushing and two touchdowns against the Carolina Panthers last Thursday

New Orleans Saints Mark Ingram has been nominated for the FedEx Ground Player of the Week for the second straight week after rushing for 100 yards and two touchdowns against the Carolina Panthers last Thursday night.

Fans can vote for Ingram here. The FedEx Air and Ground Player of the Week winners will be announced Thursday.

Ingram won the FedEx Ground Player of the Week award last week after his 172-yard rushing performance against the Green Bay Packers.

Ingram became the first Saint to record back-to-back 100-yard rushing games since running back Deuce McAllister did so in 2006 (136 vs. San Francisco on 12/3 and 111 at Dallas on 12/10).

Over the last two games, Ingram has rushed for 272 yards on 54 carries (5.0 avg.), three touchdowns, 14 first downs and seven runs that went for 10 or more yards.
