The New Orleans Saints and Keesler Federal Credit Union kick off the second season of the Kicks for Kids program. For every Saints field goal made during the regular season, Keesler Federal Credit Union will donate $1,000 to benefit the New Orleans Women's and Children's Shelter.

"Keesler Federal is proud to support the work Women & Children's Shelter of New Orleans does to help families struggling through homelessness," said Andrew Swoger, CEO and President. "Their mission to support families striving for a life of security and stability resonates with Keesler Federal's purpose – to build stronger communities."

As the leading homeless shelter for intact families in the region, the New Orleans Women and Children's Shelter (NOWCS) is committed to breaking the cycle of homelessness while keeping families together through coordinated, family-centered, holistic support and services.

"In the past two decades, NOWCS has worked to break the cycle of homelessness for over 4,700 parents and children across the region, with less than 2% ever returning. This work is rooted in holistic care, compassion and joy," said NOWCS CEO Dawn Bradley-Fletcher. "Thanks to the support of Kicks for Kids, we're lacing up for lasting change and helping New Orleans families find solid ground for generations to come."

Saints kicker Blake Grupe made 27 field goals on 31 attempts during the 2024 season and Keesler Federal donated $27,000 to Covenant House New Orleans.

As part of the Kicks for Kids initiative, New Orleans Saints kicker Blake Grupe and Keesler Federal Credit Union presented Covenant House of New Orleans with a $27,000 donation in honor of Grupe's 27 made field goals during the 2024 NFL season.
