Mark Ingram II, former New Orleans Saints running back and three-time Pro Bowler, has been officially selected for induction into the College Football Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2026, the National Football Foundation (NFF) announced Wednesday.

Ingram was originally selected in the first round of the 2011 NFL draft by the New Orleans Saints (28th overall) out of University of Alabama, where he made history in 2009 as the school's first-ever Heisman Trophy winner. He spent the first eight years of his NFL career with the Saints, carrying 1,321 times for 6,007 yards and 50 touchdowns.

After brief stints with the Baltimore Ravens and the Houston Texans, Ingram returned to New Orleans in 2021. He retired as the all-time franchise leader in rushing yards (6,500), a record since surpassed by Alvin Kamara (7,250) in 2024.

Ingram will be formally inducted into the NFF College Football Hall of Fame on Dec. 8, 2026, at the Bellagio Resort & Casino in Las Vegas.
