On an 8-yard completion to Travaris Cadet in the first quarter of Sunday's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome, Drew Brees became the fastest QB in NFL history to reach 40,000 career passing yards with one team. Brees reached the 40,000-yard mark in his 132nd career game with the Black and Gold.
The previous record was held by Dan Marino at 153 games with the Miami Dolphins.
