Annual Saints 5k Kickoff Run presented by Hancock Whitney sells out for second consecutive year

Proceeds from the 13th running of New Orleans Saints Kickoff Run will benefit the National Guard Association of Louisiana and the Louisiana National Guard Foundation

.New Orleans Saints fans kicked of the start of the 2024 NFL season at the team's annual 5K kickoff run presented by Hancock Whitney and Kids Fun Run on September 7.

The New Orleans Saints and Easy Day Sports announced today that the Saints 5K, presented by Hancock Whitney, is officially sold out with a total of 6,000+ adult registrants. The annual event will be held on Saturday, September 6th, one day before the Saints begin their regular season at home against the Arizona Cardinals.

As one of the Gulf South region's premier 5K events, the Saints 5K has become a season kickoff tradition among local and regional runners alike. This year marks the second consecutive sellout of the event. All proceeds from the Saints 5K will support the National Guard Association of Louisiana and the Louisiana National Guard Foundation (LANG Foundation).

The Saints 5K, featuring a 3.1-mile race and a half-mile Kids Fun Run, provides runners an unforgettable experience. Runners will enjoy a scenic route through New Orleans, including a thrilling finish on the 50-yard line of the Caesars Superdome, complete with views on the giant video boards. The event will also feature a post-race celebration in Champions Square, including music, refreshments, and a festive atmosphere provided by Anheuser-Busch.
