2022 – Spent the season out of football. 2021 – Spent the season on Injured Reserve for the Panthers. 2020 – Played in 14 games with eight starts as a rookie for the Panthers and recorded 41 tackles (26 solo), one stop for loss, two passes defensed and one special teams tackle…Received start in NFL debut in season opener vs. Las Vegas, Sept. 13 and recorded career-high seven tackles (four solo)…Started and saw action on special teams, recording two solo tackles and one coverage stop at Los Angeles Chargers, Sept. 27…Recorded six tackles (five solo) at Atlanta, Oct. 11…Started and posted two solo tackles in 20-0 shutout victory vs. Detroit, Nov. 22.
COLLEGE – Four-year letterwinner at Notre Dame...Finished college career of totals of 121 tackles, four interceptions, 18 passes defensed, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery. As a senior, played in all 13 games and notched 40 tackles with an interception and six passes defensed. As a junior in 2018, he totaled 47 tackles, including 1.5 for loss, while adding a pair of interceptions, ten passes defensed, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery…Was a sprinter on the Notre Dame track team…Majored in film, television and theater.
PERSONAL – Prepped at Greer (S.C.) Senior HS, where he led his team to an undefeated regular season (10-0) and ultimate 11-1 record as a senior in 2015, when he recorded 41 receptions for 848 yards (20.7 avg.) and 13 TDs, 183 rushing yards with three TDs, 437 combined kickoff-punt return yards and three TDs and three interceptions, one of which he returned for a TD…2015 American Family Insurance All-USA South Carolina Football First Team…An avid Netflix series watcher off the field in his free time…Counts 'The Office' as one of his favorites to watch.
