NFL CAREER – After being selected in the fourth round (118th overall) by the Los Angeles Chargers in the 2021 NFL draft, Rumph appeared in 37 games from 2021 to 2023 and recorded 29 tackles (17 solo), three sacks, four stops for loss and one fumble recovery. After missing 2024 due to a foot injury, Rumph enters his first season with the Black and Gold and reunites with defensive coordinator Brandon Staley, whom he played for with the Chargers. He will look to provide depth on the edges of the Saints revamped defensive scheme, while also competing for snaps on special teams.
