COLLEGE CAREER – A three-year starter who started all 42 games he played in at left tackle at the University of Texas (2022-24), Banks has the ability to play multiple positions along the offensive line. The Humble, Texas native was named the 2024 Outland Trophy winner, annually awarded by the Football Writers Association of America to the best college football interior lineman, the 2024 Lombardi Award winner, annually awarded by the Rotary Club of Houston to the college football player "who best embodies the values and spirit of legendary NFL coach Vince Lombardi, and was a unanimous first team All-American selection after starting all 15 games for the College Football Playoff semifinalists. Banks will look to secure a starting position on the offensive line in his rookie campaign under first-year Head Coach Kellen Moore.
